Samsung will soon let users video chat with doctors

Samsung users are getting a new feature in which they will be able to video chat with doctors for health issues without having to leave their homes.

Financial Times reported that Samsung users will soon be able to get AI-powered medical consultations via pre-installed technology provided by London-based health startup Babylon.

The users will be able to consult doctors through video chat and can also look up symptoms via the Samsung Health app. However, the feature comes with a price tag. Interested users would have to pay $67 (£50) per year or $33 (£25) for a single appoint to Samsung, which will share profits with Babylon along with paying a license fee for using their technology, wrote The Verge.

The Samsung phones in the region will come pre-installed with the feature. For now the new feature is limited to UK users only but report says that it will soon expand it to customers worldwide, quoted Fortune.

The details about the eligible devices and the launch date of these phones have not yet been announced.
