Governor hosts reception to honor former goal-keeper Mansoor Ahmed

KARACHI: Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Zubair on Thursday hosted a reception in honor of former goal-keeper of Pakistan Hockey team, Mansoor Ahmed at the Governor House here.

Mother, sister and coach of Mansoor Ahmed as well as former olympians, former captains of Pakistan Hockey team and other notables attended the reception, said a statement.

Addressing on the occasion, the Sindh Governor paid a glowing tribute to Mansoor Ahmed for his services in the national game `hockey' in Pakistan.

Former Captain of Pakistan Hockey team, Islahuddin Siddiqi also discussed various aspects of the life of deceased Mansoor Ahmed.

Mother of Mansoor Ahmed expressed gratitude to the Sindh Governor for organizing the reception to honor his son.
