NEW YORK: The euro extended losses against the dollar, falling to a session low, after a report showed the US private sector added 325,000 jobs in December, well above expectations for 178,000 new jobs.
The euro last traded at $1.2816, down from the $1.2833 it traded at before the report after touching a session low of $1.2801.
