ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday reaffirmed his party’s commitment to the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, saying he would personally visit every district during the upcoming election campaign and intensify public outreach.

The remarks came during a meeting with PPP Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Chaudhry Yasin and General Secretary Faisal Mumtaz Rathore in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the PPP Azad Jammu and Kashmir leadership briefed Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on preparations for the party’s election campaign and its organizational strategy ahead of the polls.

Addressing the meeting, Bilawal said the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir were close to his heart and pledged to visit every district as part of the election campaign.

He said the PPP was founded on the cause of Kashmir and reiterated that he had consistently advocated the Kashmir issue before the international community.

The PPP chairman reaffirmed that his party stood with the people of Kashmir and remained committed to addressing their problems and safeguarding their rights.

Bilawal directed party leaders to accelerate public outreach during the election campaign and ensure that the PPP’s election manifesto reached the people across Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
