One child killed in Lahore roof collapse

LAHORE: A child died, and at least four people injured after the roof of an under-construction house caved in Lahore’s Baghbanpura area on Thursday.

The doctors at Services Hospital confirm the death of a child who was identified as 12 years old Abu Bakr. The four injured include 45-year-old Waseem, 38-year-old Faiz, 38-year-old Shakeel, and 35-year-old Nadeem who were undergoing treatment at Services Hospital. The school owner Nadia Rizwan and four others have been arrested.

According to Rescue 1122, the roof of the third floor of an under-construction house collapsed, killing a child and leaving four injured, while another person still remained buried under the rubble.
