ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has officially entered a new phase of financial cooperation with China after successfully raising 1.75 billion yuan through the issuance of panda bonds.

Pakistan’s finance minister added that this development will also help promote the international use of the Chinese currency.

Officials described the move as an important step towards diversifying Pakistan’s funding sources and deepening economic cooperation with China.

As per the channel report, the funds raised through the bond issuance are expected to support broader financial and development needs.

The development is being viewed as a key moment in Pakistan–China financial relations, opening new avenues for investment and long-term economic collaboration between the two countries.
