HYDERABAD: SAFCO Group organised a prestigious ceremony at its head office in Hyderabad to mark the first anniversary of the historic success of “Battle for Truth” (“Maarka-e-Haq”). The event paid tribute to the soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces for their services in defending the homeland and emphasized the need for collective efforts to ensure peace.

Speakers at the ceremony said that due to the bravery, professional capabilities, and technological advancement of the Pakistan Armed Forces, not only do the country’s citizens feel secure, but Pakistan’s prestige has also risen internationally.

Addressing the gathering, SAFCO Group Founder and President Dr Suleman G. Abro said that peace, stability, and prosperity are the fundamental aspirations of every nation. He said the world is rapidly changing, with countries and institutions competing in the field of modern technology to ensure the safety, development, and welfare of people.

He further stated that the purpose of the ceremony was to acknowledge the performance of national institutions that have brought pride to the country. Referring to the destruction caused by wars, he said such conflicts not only result in the loss of human lives but also push nations into economic and social crises.

Highlighting the humanitarian situation in Palestine, Dr. Abro said the martyrdom of thousands of innocent children is a grave question for humanity. Referring to incidents such as the Minab school tragedy in Iran, he added that such events deeply shake the conscience of the world.
