KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 117,290 Tons of Cargo Comprising 71,631 Tons of Import Cargo and 45,659 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 71,631 Tons Comprised of 20,349 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 3,038 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 957 Tons of Canola, 787 Tons of Chickpeas, 2500 Tons of Base Oil, 27,800 Tons of Crude Oil, 16,200 Tons of Mogas, 17,44 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 45,659Tons Comprised of 43,996 Tons of Containerized Cargo,963 Tons of Bulk Cargo, and 700 Tons of Rice.
Ship Seaspan Bellwether is on Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
Three ships namely Brooklyn Bridge, KMCT Manila, and GFS Jade Sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them bulk cargo carrier ‘Thor Magnihild’ left the port on morning, while four more ships, Zhong Gu Kun Ming, Brooklyn Bridge, Honor Galaxy and GFS Jade are expected to sail on today.
Cargo volume of 135,771 tones comprising 72,519 tones imports cargo and 63,252 export cargo carried in 4,783 Containers (1,817 TEUs Imports & 2,966 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 12 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Raon Teresa and Gooby and another ship ‘GFS Jade’ carrying Chemicals, Coal and Container expected to take berths EVTL, PQEPT and QICT respectively on 05th May, 2026.
