Three cops martyred in Bannu

PESHAWAR: In two separate firing incidents in the district of Bannu, unidentified armed assailants martyred three police personnel, creating panic and fear in the area on Monday.

According to Bannu police, the first incident occurred in the Kinger Jan Bahadur area of Mandan, where a police official identified as Sher Muhammad Khan was shot dead. Police said he was on his way to duty when targeted by unknown attackers.
