LESCO detects electricity theft in hotel

LAHORE: The LESCO’s inspection team, under the supervision of the SDO of Chong Sub-Division, caught a hotel and a welding shop red-handed for illegally drawing electricity directly from LESCO’s LT lines.

According to LESCO authorities, all illegal meters and cables at the site were immediately confiscated, and legal proceedings have been initiated. The accused will also face heavy fines for the outstanding dues, they said.
