SINGAPORE: South Korea’s LG Energy Solution on Thursday launched a four-tranche US dollar bond sale that could raise up to $1.6 billion, according to a term sheet reviewed by Reuters.
The issuance comes despite the market volatility brought about by the ongoing Middle East war, which has sent assets from stocks to bonds and precious metals tumbling.
The bonds have been assigned a BBB rating by S&P Global Ratings and a Baa2 rating by Moody’s, with an expected settlement date of April 2.
