LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Punjab, Azma Bokhari, has said that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz is winning the hearts of the people through her governance style, and even critics have acknowledged her performance.

“Maryam Nawaz is committed to transforming the entire province into a beautiful and model region, just like a well-managed home,” Azma said.

She said the distribution of the Punjab government’s Ramadan Nigehban Package is progressing successfully, with financial assistance being delivered to deserving individuals at their doorsteps without any queues or inconvenience.

She stated that the government has set a new benchmark in public service by ensuring transparency, efficiency, and dignity.

She shared that the total number of people who have benefited from the Nigehban Ramadan Dastarkhwan has reached 1,578,578, reflecting strong public trust in the initiative.

Azma Bokhari further stated that across Punjab, a total of 2,608,192 Nigehban cards have been received, while 2,302,540 cards have been delivered to citizens at their doorsteps. Moreover, 1,968,829 cards have been successfully encashed so far.

She added that through the public facilitation platform, the “Maryam Ko Batayein” app, financial assistance of Rs10,000 per person has been disbursed to 13,892 citizens, demonstrating the government’s prompt and effective response mechanism.

The minister emphasized that development initiatives are underway across every corner of Punjab without discrimination, and the journey of progress is no longer limited to Lahore. She noted that the same standard of development visible in Lahore can now be seen in Attock and Rahim Yar Khan.
