Activities of Port Qasim

KARACHI: A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Belita, Andromeda and Gaslog Saratoga left the port on Thursday morning, while three more ships, Stolt Argon, Kouros Diamond and Hansa Africa are expected to sail on Thursday afternoon.

Cargo volume of 219,238 tonnes, comprising 178,827 tonnes imports cargo and40,411 export cargo carried in 5,893 Containers (3,819 TEUs Imports & 2,074 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 20 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, MSC Vita-V, Semiha Ahmet-M, Propel Shakti, Katherine Kosan and Nikolas-A scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice, Soya Bean Seed, Chemicals and Coal expected to take berths at QICT, MW-2, FAP, EVTL and PIBT on Thursday 8th January, 2026.
