ISLAMABAD: The government has ruled out the possibility of mini-budget after achievement of around 95 percent of the assigned target for July-December (2025-26).
It is learnt that Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has congratulated the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for achievement of 95 percent of the assigned target for July-December (2025-26).

The FBR has also achieved 98.3 percent of the assigned target in December 2025.
Sources told Business Recorder that the FBR is not drafting any new bill or ordinance for introducing new revenue measures during January 2026.
The sources categorically said that till now, no new taxation measures are under consideration as the FBR has achieved 98.3 percent of the assigned target during last month.
