Turkiye central bank’s total reserves fell $7bn last week, bankers say

ANKARA: The Turkiye Central Bank’s total gross reserves fell by $7 billion last week to $180.5 billion, according to bankers’ calculations, falling mostly due to gold price declines.
The calculations of three bankers showed that net reserves decreased by $3.5 billion to $69 billion in the week ending November 20.
Net reserves, excluding swaps, decreased by just over $3 billion to $54.5 billion.
Official data on reserves will be released on Thursday.
