Young lawyers visit Directorate of HR Dept, offer services voluntarily
KARACHI: A delegation of the Young Lawyers Association on Tuesday visited the Directorate of Human Rights Department and offered their professional services on voluntary basis in matters related to human rights cases.
Both senior advocates Nasebullah Soomro and Haya Malik leading the delegation are practicing lawyers of High Court of Sindh.
During the meeting, the delegation expressed their strong commitment to supporting the Directorate in advancing justice and protecting rights of the citizens, particularly those who are underprivileged or marginalized.
The advocates are extending their assistance, and several initial cases have been referred to them on a trial basis. Based on this collaboration, they will continue to provide free legal services on humanitarian grounds for cases referred by the Directorate.
The Directorate of Human Rights Agha Fakhur Hussain appreciated the voluntary initiative and selfless contributions of the Young Lawyers Association, particularly Advocates Nasebullah Soomro and Haya Malik, recognizing their dedication to the cause of humanity and justice. Such collaborative efforts are instrumental in promoting a culture of compassion, equality, and accountability in society.
