KARACHI: In a pharmaceutical innovation, SAAKH Group has announced an investment of over PKR 1 billion to develop Pakistan’s largest production facility for medicine pelletization and taste-masking in Karachi.

This cutting-edge initiative marks a significant expansion into a new sector, bringing advanced technologies to the local pharmaceutical landscape. The facility, the first of its kind in the country, represents a bold departure from traditional production models, positioning Pakistan at the forefront of specialized medicine manufacturing.

Scheduled to be fully operational by June 2026, the plant is not just a business venture but a statement of confidence in Pakistan’s economic stability and industrial potential.

Spokesperson for SAAKH Group commented, “We are proud to lead this transformation. Our investment is a testament to our faith in Pakistan’s capabilities and our commitment to delivering global-standard healthcare solutions. This initiative will significantly reduce Pakistan’s dependence on imported pharmaceutical technologies and raw materials, empowering the country to manufacture advanced formulations locally with greater efficiency and control.”
