Seminar on developments in vascular, endovascular surgery held

LAHORE: Recent developments made in vascular and endovascular surgery worldwide were discussed in a seminar organised by the Punjab Institute of Neurosciences.

World-renowned vascular surgeon, Dr. Habib Khan, MD, Chairman, Department of Surgery, Bayshore Medical Center, USA, apprised the participants about latest trend in the treatment of vascular and endovascular surgery.

It may be noted that Dr. Habib Khan has been included in the World's 200 Best Vascular Surgeons by Newsweek.

Prof. Asif Bashir, Executive Director, Punjab Institute of Neurosciences said on the occasion that they will continue to organize such seminars so that our trainees can know about the advancement of modern surgical technology around the world. He said that Dr. Habib Khan came here from America at his own expense and provided us with useful information.

The seminar provided an insight into the latest medical techniques and investigations. Principal Allama Iqbal Medical College Prof. Syed Asghar Naqi and other senior professors participated in the seminar.
