PPP’s foreign policy Faisco Last night, during a causal discussion, I discovered that people of Larkana are denied UAE visit visa by authorities. Surprisingly, people who have been denied visa were all born in Larkana, and they were from Sindhi Shaikh community, which is a business community. One the gentleman had a valid US visa. We assume that US has very stringent screening standards, while issuing any visa. Other gentleman was a banker, who has been hired by a UAE bank’s local office. I can’t comprehend denying visa on the basis of birth. Additionally, I consider this a total failure of PPP while their Chairman is the foreign minister. I may suggest PPP to work with UAE authorities to allow people of Shaikh Community born in Larkana to get visit visa. I do understand that UAE authorities have every right to deny visa to anyone, however, while we have a long friendly relationships, denial shouldn’t be systematic rather done for each individual based upon his criminal record.
