KARACHI: ESPL, one of the world's largest e-sports firms, has partnered with REDtone Digital Services (RDS) to bring electronic gaming to Pakistan. By focusing on grassroots tournaments, they will be bringing in massive gaming titles like PUBG Mobile, Valorant, Mobile Legends, etc., officially to the Pakistani audiences.

It is an opportune moment for the Pakistani market that the ESPL has made its entry, and it has generated massive sponsorship interest from domestic and international brands. Through the RDS, they will add weight to the government's drive to digitize Pakistan and build up the nation as a true contender for international gaming competitions.

As a first move, both ESPL and RDS are working on organizing a series of e-sport tournaments across Pakistan throughout the year. The platform will also host multiple international (region-wide) tournaments each month. Players from Pakistan will be able to enter these tournaments on a first-come-first-served basis and play against international contenders.

Speaking about the partnership, Mahnoor Nadeem, REDtone Digital Services CEO, said that Pakistan is a country at the cusp of a digitisation drive, and the young population was making a meaningful contribution to the transformation process.
