Kartarpur Corridor closed since March 16

ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) on Sunday said that Kartarpur Corridor is closed since March 16, 2021 as part of measures to stop spread of Covid-19.

In response to reports that Kartarpur is open for Sikh pilgrims, the NCOC clarified that the ‘corridor is closed since March 16, 2021 for all types of movement’.

“Due to recent Covid-19 rise, all types of travel from India have been banned, including through Wagah Border since April 19, 2021,” it added.
