PESHAWAR: Provincial president ANP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Aimal Wali Khan Sunday called for the constitution of a truth commission to probe into the sacrifices of Pakhtuns in the war against terrorism and immediate resignation of the Interior Minister Ijaz Shah.
Addressing a public meeting in district Buner, he said that federal minister is not an ordinary man, rather he is the representative of the state and now it would have to answer and tell that who was behind the war against terrorism.
Aimal Wali Khan said that ANP not only demands the constitution of a truth commission on the sacrifices of Pakhtuns, rather also asking the Interior Minister to tender resignation within a period of ten days.
He said that ANP had always opposed discrimination in good and bad Taliban and Shaheed Bashir Ahmad Bilour had asked the state from the floor of the assembly that it should have abolish the policy of good and bad Taliban.
He said that the government would not flop the public meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) scheduled on November 22 through issuance of threat alerts to ANP.
