KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.548 billion and the number of lots traded 8,472.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.806 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 1.199 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 803.364 million, copper PKR 415.439 million, DJ PKR 401.828 million, silver PKR 369.351 million, natural gas PKR 226.401 million, crude oil PKR 183.789 million, platinum PKR 112.351 million and SP500 PKR 29.540 million. In agriculture commodities, 7 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 14.512 million and 2 lot of wheat amounting to PKR 10.258 million were traded.
