KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.504 billion and the number of lots traded 10,550.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.627 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.647 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.084 billion, silver PKR 779.705 million, currencies through COTS PKR 659.329 million, natural gas PKR 281.218 million, platinum PKR 180.571 million, copper PKR 114.040 million, crude oil PKR 82.501 million and SP500 PKR 48.381 million.

In agriculture commodities, 3 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 14.662 million, one lot of soybean amounting to PKR 8.474 million and 3 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 1.688 million were traded.
