KARACHI: On Wednesday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.447 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,015.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.325 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.587 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.024 billion, silver PKR 681.634 million, currencies through COTS PKR 640.440 million, copper PKR 511.669 million, platinum PKR 317.902 million, natural gas PKR 160.194 million, crude oil PKR 143.243 million, and SP500 PKR 54.318 million.
In agriculture commodities 9 lots of wheat valued at PKR 42.361 million, 3 lots of soybean valued at PKR 25.031 million, 5 lots of corn valued at PKR 15.585 million and 2 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 1.089 million were traded.
