KARACHI: On Friday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.692 billion and the number of lots traded 8,959.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.451 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 858.255 million, silver PKR 634.135 million, currencies through COTS PKR 552.344 million, natural gas PKR 514.336 million, platinum PKR 317.525 million, DJ PKR 269.295 million, crude oil PKR 65.991 million, SP500 PKR 21.524 million and copper PKR 8.378 million.
In agriculture commodities, 2 lots of soybean amounting to PKR 16.558 million, 2 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 5.956 million, one lot of wheat amounting to PKR 4.540 million and one lot of corn amounting to PKR 3.036 million were traded.
