KARACHI: On Tuesday, Pakistan Rupee lost value against USD in both interbank and open markets. It also went down against Euro and SR while remaining unchanged against AED in open market..
INTER-BANK MARKET RATES: In the interbank market, Pakistan Rupee lost 15 paisas for buying and 10 paisas for selling against USD over yesterday's rates closing at 166.20 and 166.30 respectively.
OPEN MARKET RATES: In the open market, PKR lost 10 paisas for both buying and selling against USD over yesterday's rates closing at 166.20 and 166.40 respectively.
Against Euro, PKR lost 50 paisas for buying while remaining unchanged for selling closing at 196.50 and 197.50 respectively.
Against UAE Dirham, PKR remained unchanged for both buying and selling closing at 45.10 and 45.30 respectively.
Against Saudi Riyal, PKR lost 5 paisas for both buying and selling closing at 44 and 44.15 respectively

RUPEE IN LAHORE: The Pak rupee depreciated its worth versus major currencies including the greenback and the British pound in the local currency market on Tuesday.
According to currency dealers, the short supply phenomenon of the greenback prevailed throughout the trading session which helped its appreciation for buying and selling at Rs 166.10 and Rs 167.00 against the overnight closing rate of Rs 166.00 and Rs 166.80 respectively.
Similarly, the national currency also followed suit in relation to the pound sterling that was bought and sold at Rs 213.00 and Rs 215.00 against Monday's closing trend of Rs 212.50 and Rs 214.00 respectively, they added
RUPEE IN ISLAMABAD AND RAWALPINDI: The rupee gained 10 paisas against the dollar at the open currency markets of Islamabad and Rawalpindi here on Tuesday.
The dollar opened at Rs166.40 (buying) and Rs166.50 (selling) against last rate of Rs166.50 (buying) and Rs166.60 (selling).
It closed at Rs166.40 (buying) and Rs166.50 (selling).
The buying and selling rates of one tola of gold was Rs121, 600(selling) and Rs121, 300(buying) at the local Sarafa (gold) markets of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi
