KARACHI: On Thursday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 9.918 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,136.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 4.873 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.193 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 990.417 million, copper PKR 961.508 million, DJ PKR 858.368 million, silver PKR 523.439 million, natural gas PKR 217.884 million, platinum PKR 124.808 million, crude oil PKR 105.648 million and SP500 PKR 69.707 million.

In agriculture commodities 3 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 6.463 million were traded.
