KARACHI: On Tuesday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.338 billion and the number of lots traded was 14,780.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6.453 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.364 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.251 billion, copper PKR 900.995 million, silver PKR 726.089, currencies through COTS PKR 635.322 million, crude oil PKR 396.947 million, natural gas PKR 381.117 million, platinum PKR 160.423 million and SP500 PKR 67.998 million.

In agriculture commodities 6 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 3.217 million were traded.
