KARACHI: On Thursday, The traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 10.870 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,522. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 7.360 billion, followed by copper PKR 1.029 billion, silver PKR 768.939 million, currencies through COTS PKR 629.757 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 403.134 million, natural gas PKR 231.952 million, platinum PKR 224.867 million, crude oil PKR 134.571 million, DJ PKR 69.584 million and SP500 PKR 18.714 million.
In agriculture commodities, one lot of soybean amounting to PKR 7.619 million, one lot of wheat amounting to PKR 4.304 million and 6 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 3.237 million were traded.
