Special teams of district administration here lodged FIR against 110 shopkeepers during surprise raids to check compliance of price rules and laws, wherein fine of Rs 85,700/- was imposed on the violators.
Responding to public complaints and continuing the crackdown launched by district administration here, Price Magistrates/Rationing Controller/Assistant Food Controller carried out raids in their respective areas and apprehended some shopkeepers and encroachers.
During the drive in Khushal Bazar, Hashtnagri, Yakkatoot, Dabgari, Garhi Baghbanan, Bashirabad, Charsadda Adda, Landy Sarak, Bangash Market, Nawab Market, Patak Gulberg, Pishtakharra and Mathra Chamkani areas, various 327 shops and encroaches were checked while 110 FIRS were lodged against the violators. A fine of Rs 85,700/- was also imposed on the violators.
