Contempt of court proceedings plea against doctors

Judicial Activism Panel (JAP) has appealed to the Lahore High Court to initiate contempt of court proceedings against the doctors, who went on strike despite the fact that investigations were still continuing in spurious medicine case. The petitioner, JAP, Chairman, Azhar Saddiqu, stated that the matter was already sub judice but the young doctors went on strike, which was clearly a contempt of court.
He, therefore, prayed to the court to initiate contempt of court proceedings against the protesting doctors and cancel their licenses.
