The Waste Heat Recovery Project of DG Khan Cement Company situated at Dera Ghazi Khan has been successfully registered with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) for carbon credit. According to an information sent to Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Tuesday, the said project is generating 10.4MW of electricity.
The project is expected to generate 33,845 MT CO2 equivalent per annum for a credit period from January 2012 to December 2021.
