Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday forecast scattered rain/thundershower across the country with isolated heavy falls in Sindh and upper Punjab on August 14 (Sunday). According to the met analysis, seasonal low lies over north-west Balochistan with its trough extending south-eastward, monsoon currents are reaching in most parts of the country while a westerly wave is still present over northern areas and Kashmir.
Moist current from the Bay of Bengal is penetrating Punjab & Kashmir up-to 5,000 feet which will cause scattered rain/thundershower in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Bahawalpur, DG Khan and Multan divisions with isolated heavy falls in upper Punjab on Sunday.
