Shadab bids farewell to BBL as he prepares for NZ tour

Pakistan leg spinner Shadab Khan concluded his stint at the Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) on a winning note and will be joining the Pakistan cricket team as they take on the New Zealand in 2018.
“Happy to win my last game of the @BBL this season. Great time with @HeatBBL, great bunch. Best of luck to @Bazmccullum and team, #TurnUpTheHeat and win the trophy 🏆. Thank you Australia, see you soon. Time to put on my national jersey. New Zealand here we come,” Shadab said on social media.

Shadab has taken six wickets in his three BBL matches, while playing for Brisbane Heat, dismissing the likes of international superstars including Glenn Maxwell, Luke Wright, Aaron Finch, Harris, Jos Buttler and Shane Watson. The performance earned him a Player of the Match award.
As per previous reports, Shadab would be replace by fellow countrymen leg spinner Yasir Shah in the later part of the BBL.
