Government determined in its fight against terrorism: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani while commiserating with MNA, Engr. Amir Muqam on the loss of innocent lives in a suicide attack just before the start of his julsa, said that these cowardly acts would not stop government from eradicating terrorists from the country.
He expressed these views in a meeting with Engr. Amir Muqam, MNA who called on him at PM's House, here on Friday. Gilani said that enlightened political leadership of the country has been deliberately targeted by the militants. He said that it was clear that the terrorists were against the development and progress of the country. Muqam appreciated the political leadership of the country for their steadfastness against the anti-state elements. He specially mentioned Engr. Amir Muqam for his continued efforts for the welfare of the people of Kohistan and other remote region of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa despite several threats from the militants. He assured the government's full support and provision of security to the Federal Minister.
The overall development schemes initiated in the remote regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by the government were discussed in the meeting. Muqam also proposed and discussed new projects for the uplift of these areas. Muqam thanked Gilani for his interest in the uplift of the remote and under-developed areas.
