ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Monday said former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was not against judiciary, instead he had struggled for restoration of judiciary in the country.
Nawaz Sharif had played a pivotal role in restoration of independent judiciary, he said talking to a private news channel.
The minister said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had reservations on the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif, who was disqualified on having an ‘Iqama’.
Dr Tariq Fazal said PML-N had roots among masses and would be elected on the basis of performance and prudent policies in the general election 2018.
Replying to a question, he said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan himself confessed that he owned Niazi Service and action should be taken against him.
