Lahore take Railway Handball title

Lahore clinched the title of the Railway's Divisional Handball Championship with 36-17 points win over Workshop Division here at Railway Stadium. The final was supervised by Sultan Mehmood, Rashid Javed. Multan took bronze medals. Later on chief guest distributed trophies, certificates, medals to the teams and individuals.
The Railway's Divisional Handball Championship digs out a lot of talent. Railway Minister, PRSB Chairman and GM Railways are very serious about sports promotion in Railway and they are doing their best to enhance activity of sports with likeable packages for the players, Dr Aftab Iqbal, Divisional Sports officer, DMO Lahore, said.
