Cop shot dead in Jaffarabad

A police personnel was gunned down while another injured when unknown armed men attacked a police check post near Bypass area of Jaffarabad at night between Thursday and Friday. According to the police, unidentified armed men attacked a police check post and shot dead one police personnel and other Nasrullah sustained wounds, later accused escaped from the scene.
The injured was rushed to the hospital. The body of the other was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities. No one so for claimed responsibility for attack. Police have registered a case against unknown assailants and started investigation.
