The management of LCCI on Friday announced 'Amnesty Scheme 2011' for its corporate and associate class members that had discontinued their membership after year 2005. According to LCCI spokesman, all businessmen/ business houses that were members of LCCI in 2004-5 and could not get their membership renewed after that can now get it renewed up to December 31, 2011 by depositing a single fee ie rupees 4,100 (corporate class) and Rs 1,600/- for associate class.
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Lahore Chamber) office bearers President Shahzad Ali Malik, Senior Vice President, Sheikh Mohammad Arshad and Vice President Sohail Azhar took the decision in consultation with the Executive Committee to strengthen the chamber by bringing more and more businesses into the mainstream. This way, LCCI would be able to play its role for the stability of the economy.
