BRASILIA/SAO PAULO: Brazil may free up around 7 billion reais ($2.1 billion) in government spending in 2017 on the heels of a recent upswing in tax collecting, two government sources told Reuters on Thursday.
The final figure is still under discussion and may change before publication, the sources said.
