Mustafa Kamal claims Farooq Sattar has told half-lies

Pakistan Sarzameen Party (PSP) founder Mustafa Kamal has accused Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Farooq Sattar of telling half-lies, claiming that he will be telling the whole truth.

The PSP chief is addressing a press conference at Pakistan House in Karachi, where he said that Sattar had been giving everyone the notion that PSP had been taking decision at the behest of the establishment. According to him, the establishment had been asking him to meet with Sattar for past eight months at Sattar’s request.

Confirming the speculation, Kamal revealed that the establishment had been calling PSP to meet MQM-P. "This is not a plan that is eight months old. However, it is a plan that started on August 22, 2016, when Sattar was [put in charge]."

According to Kamal, during their meetings, Sattar had been urging him to join MQM. Kamal said he will not be forming ties with MQM because it belonged and still belongs to Altaf Hussain. ''I will wrap up my own party but will never join MQM,'' Kamal stated.

Earlier during a press conference on Thursday, Sattar claimed only a day ago Kamal had agreed to unite with him but he also said that MQM belonged to its founder. "Muhajirs and their mandate was insulted yesterday," Sattar said while referring to Kamal's statements. Sattar had further said that Kamal was not ready to voice his concern over this injustice with Muhajirs.

After Sattar's presser on Thursday, Kamal, while briefly speaking to the media on Friday, answered to Sattar’s allegations by saying, "Hold your breath sahib, it's our turn now," local media reported.
