Let nobody’s opinion define who you are: Mahira Khan

Post the smoke break controversy with Ranbir Kapoor, actress Mahira Khan made her first appearance on the final day of the Pakistan’s Bridal Couture Week that was held in Lahore yesterday.

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan set the cat walk ablaze as she walked down with fierceness, elegance and confidence in her white goddess attire. The fashionable queen rocked the white jump suit that was body perfect and complementing her strong personality.

Mahira Khan also announced the extremely proud moment not just for her but for all Pakistanis of her becoming the first Pakistani woman to be the Brand Ambassador of L’Oreal Paris. The Pakistani actress has now joined actresses; Sonam Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai , Naomi Watts, Eva Longoria and Helen Mirren as a ambassador of the international brand.

However the highlight of the night was her speech that shook everyone, Mahira in her own way shut all the backlash that she had received following the controversy, the actress very politely said: “Through the times of turbulence, through the joys, through the ups and downs, through the mistakes we make and all the success we get, let nobody… nobody’s opinion define who you are, And if anybody defines who you are, let it be yourself. Because including me and all the women out there, we’re all worth it!”

For this speech, the ‘Raees’ actress was very well appreciated by her fans and followers on social media.

On work front, Mahira Khan is currently gearing up for the promotions of her upcoming movie, Shoaib Mansoor directed ‘Verna’ opposite Haroon Shahid that is scheduled to release on 17^th November.
