LONDON: Angola's liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plant launched a tender to sell a cargo loading on Sept. 9-11 and another on Oct. 3-5, a trader and an industry source said on Wednesday.
The trade source said bids for the September-loading cargo are due on Monday; bids for the October shipment must be submitted by Tuesday.
"We expect less volume to be offered by Angola following its deal with Vitol," the trader said.
On Monday, Vitol entered into an offtake deal with Angola LNG with deliveries due to begin later this year, cutting into the share the plant has left over for sale into spot markets.
