Anushka opted out of movie for being ‘overweight’

Anushka Shetty, the lead actress of biggest blockbuster ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’, that has earned over 1000 crores on the box office, has been opted out of Prabha’s next movie, ‘Saaho’ for being overweight.

Fans of the movie were eagerly waiting to see Anushka Shetty and Prabha to re-enact the same chemistry they shared in their previous franchises but there’s bad news as Anushka Shetty is dropped out of ‘Saaho’ after she wasn’t able to lose the desirable weight.

A source close to the ‘Saaho’ unit said, "Anushka was training hard for the role in Saaho. However her weight has become a bone of contention. She is still about five to eight kilo over weight. And this might cost her the film itself,” Bollywood Life reported.

The South Indian actress had an issue with weight from the time she gained few extra kilos for her role in ‘Size Zero’. The ‘Saaho’ makers are now in a tough spot for choosing the heroine for the movie as Katrina Kaif had previously rejected ‘Baahubali’ whereas Shraddha Kapoor demanded a huge amount for the same role.
