MINGORA: Peace Jirga Swat has called for the arrest of the reuniting on run terrorists to bring them to justice. The peace committee appeals to the judiciary for awarding exemplary punishment to them.
The demand was made by the chief of Nekpekhel Peace Committee, Saifullah Khan and other elders included: Feroz Shah advocate, Ibrahim Dewlai, Inamur Rehman and Zaheen Khan while addressing a press conference here in Swat Press Club (SPC) on Monday.
They said that suspected terrorists released from prisons may be involved in attacks on the leaders of the peace committee members and re-sabotaging of peace in Swat.
However, they said that terrorists would not be allowed to dilute the peaceful environment of Swat. They termed attack on general secretary of the committee, Karimul Hadi a cowardice act, which they condemned and made it clear that such designs of the terrorists will never plunge the high morale of the elders of the committee.
They said that peace in Swat is restored after huge sacrifices of lives and properties and will stand along with Pakistan army for the maintenance of peace and till the elimination of last terrorists their holy war will continue.
The leaders of the peace committee said that terrorists are once trying to regroup in Swat, but the people of Swat in side by side with Pakistan army for the maintenance of peace to foil the evil designs of the terrorists.
They demanded the government and security forces for the arrest all terrorists either hiding in Pakistan or in other countries to bring them to justice.
