TOKYO: Japanese Economics Minister Motohisa Furukawa said on Monday that the government is watching risks from a yen's rise, global economy and Thai flooding even as the economy rebounded in July-September from a slump caused by the March earthquake.
Furukawa said the economy will continue to grow in the coming months although the pace of a recovery is slowing.
Government data showed Japan's economy grew 1.5 percent in July-September from the previous quarter following three quarters of contraction as exports and consumption rebounded from a slump caused by the March earthquake.
