KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah has ordered a probe into the Thatta traffic accident and directed for stern action against the persons responsible for it.
Expressing deep sorrow and grief over deaths and many injured in the accident, the Sindh CM sympathised with the families of the victims, said a statement issued here on Sunday.
After the accident, Syed Qaim Ali Shah immediately directed the Commissioner Hyderabad Division, the local administration of the district, police officials, health department and rescue services to immediately start rescue activities.
He further directed the provincial Secretary Health to provide better medical treatment to the injured and make all possible efforts to save the lives of the injured.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah has directed the workers of his party to fully participate in the relief and rescue works and also donate blood for the wounded.
