KARACHI: On Monday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48503.78 with a negative change of 504.22 and volume of 51,072,840 shares.

High and Low were 49081.28 and 48503.78 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 143,538,550 shares with 332 total traded companies out of which 60 were up, 263 were down and 9 were unchanged.

ENGINEERING was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 30,448,800 shares. It was followed by CHEMICAL with a total traded volume of 18,489,850 shares.

The three top traded companies were Lotte Chemical with a volume of 9,371,000 and price per share of 10.40 (0.36), Silk Bank Ltd with a volume 3,741,000 of price per share of 1.67 (0.06), Engro Polymer with a volume 2,818,500 of price per share of 24.10 (0.61).

The top three advancers were Khyber Tobacco with price per share 992.35 (47.25), Indus Dyeing with price per share of 695.00 (28.60) and Unilever Foods share of 5825.00 (25.00).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 3800.00 (165.13), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2341.00 (63.11) and Indus Motor Co per share of 1637.98 (41.19).
