128 corrupt elements arrested during 2016

imageFAISALABAD: Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) claimed to have arrested 128 corrupt elements of various government departments besides recovering embezzled money of Rs. 27.09 million from their possession during 2016.

A spokesman of the ACE said here Saturday the ACE received 1268 complaints against corrupt elements whereas 653 old and 598 new inquires of corruption cases were completed

during current year.

The ACE also recovered Rs. 5.166 million during 79 inquiries.
